15-minute Spaghetti Sauce

When I was growing-up, we had Spaghetti for Sunday Dinner a lot.
And we never complained because my mom made THE best Spaghetti Sauce!
She would put the ingredients in the crockpot early Sunday Morning and let them all brew together until 4-5:00 in the evening!
NOTHING was better than that slow-cooked, flavor-infused sauce!

But usually I don't have time for that!
Usually we have 15 minutes to throw dinner together, right?
Well, here is my 'cheaters' tip for a great sauce that comes together in 15-minutes:)
These are the three ingredients you will need:
*one can of store-bought Pasta Sauce
*one half packet of Italian salad dressing mix
*1 Tbs honey (or grape jelly)

Basically, mix the three ingredients in a sauce pan and heat/simmer on medium low.

The added honey/jelly takes away the metallic taste from canned sauce and breaks down the strong acidity from the tomato sauce.
The Italian salad dressing quickly infuses into the canned sauce, giving it that slow-cooked taste!
Considering most pastas take 10-12 minutes to cook and this sauce takes 15 minutes,
you truly could be sitting down to dinner within 20 minutes!
For extra flavor, you can obviously add browned hamburger or sausage to your sauce.
But if you're in a hurry, try this 15-minute Spaghetti Sauce that is sure to please your whole family:)
